Dramatic Nomads are delighted to announce that our next production will take place on 15th, 16th, 17th and 18th October 2025 at TheaterArche (Münzwardeingasse 2a, 1060 Wien). A play written before its time comes to fruition in our modern age. Written over 100 years ago, R.U.R. takes places in a version of our world where robots are human-like and the norm. They are in every facet of life, they are the helper on the street, the worker in the factory, the extra in your home. However, like so much in this life, greed pushes the limitations of these beings and their subservient role in society.
Rossum’s Universal Robots (R.U.R.) is a story of humanity.
